Fratelli La Bufala is the made in Italy restaurant project that places traditional products of Campania at the heart of its offering, especially buffalo mozzarella, buffalo meat and the traditional Neapolitan pizza created with ingredients of the highest quality.
The brand was born in Naples, in 2003, from Geppi Marotta’s idea which has made Fratelli La Bufala a market leader in Italy and the world, with an exponential growth in the space of only a few years. The key to the innovative business plan was to become global ambassadors of the Neapolitan pizza, through a network of restaurants with a common identity, yet with each maintaining their own uniqueness.
The authenticity of our products and our traditional cuisine are the main inspirations behind Fratelli La Bufala, which aims to challenge the homogenization and standardization of food by exporting authentic Neapolitan culture. From Naples to London, Milan, Dubai, Rome and Miami, there are many Fratelli La Bufala restaurants in Italy and worldwide, some directly owned and some franchises, with presence on the high streets, in shopping centres and airports.
The restyling of the historical Mergellina restaurant in Naples, in 2018, marks the launch of a new retail strategy that gives value to locations such as Milan, Rome and London with the introduction of flagship stores and focuses on the the “La Bufala” concept in all its declinations.
